£19.23 per hour + 3.75 holiday pay – £20.79 per hour + £3.33 holiday pay

The Humber Maritime College is a new maritime college offering Merchant Navy Cadet programmes and professional training. As part of the TEC Partnership, Humber Maritime College are seeking to appoint two casual Learning Practitioner’s in Nautical Science to develop and support delivery of accredited cadet programmes and short courses

Working closely with the Programme Leader, these posts are required to assist in the development of the deck cadetships as well as commercial activity.  Initially assisting with the development of short courses, Level 3, HNC and HND materials for the cadet college there will also be a requirement for you to carry out lecturing and tutorial duties, blended and distance learning for academic units within NauticalScience.  Classroom, simulator and blended learning approaches will be used to create a world-class maritime training facility at the MODAL Training Centre.

You will have experience as lecturer in Nautical Science as well as other marine industry experience; we are primarily looking for persons with the desire and passion to create a student learning experience, which is second to none.
